It was a bit chilly the Sunday afternoon we took bluebonnet photos with Jessica and her family out in Brenham, TX. Driving from Houston to Brenham took an exceptionally long time too — multiple accidents and the Rodeo had just packed up that day. It was non-stop traffic from about 99 until Brenham. A tip to everyone in Houston, stay off the freeways when the Rodeo ends! But, for the photo memories, it was definitely worth it!
Her son wasn’t having any of the photos… so I had to take a whole bunch and photoshop his best look into this photo. (shh… don’t tell anyone!)
All-in-all we got some cute ones they were very happy with.
Thank you Jessica and congratulations!!
I had the honor of assisting with a wedding reception this last month. It was at Pecan Grove Plantation Country Club in Richmond, Texas. Here are a small handful of the many great shots of the day.
They did Nothing Bundt Cakes for their wedding cake. This was a great idea and all their guests enjoyed them. Not only were they individually wrapped & delicious, but left over cakes (perfectly boxed) made their way home with guests too. It was a brilliant idea!
Two fun group shots.
Really ladies? 😛
Thanks again and Congratulations!!
Sarah needed a few quick photos for the Texans Cheerleader tryout auditions.
Thanks Sarah & good luck!!
Chi has been my hair stylist since about 2002-ish. She has two very happy children and recently just got married (Congrats!!). She has been after me for Bluebonnet photos for years now and it just happened to pan out with our schedules this time. We ended up visiting a little field down in Richmond Texas on a Sunday and arrived pretty early in the morning before others were up. The sun was super bright, but the weather was in the mid 70’s – perfect for taking photos!
Here is Chi and her new husband!
Here are her two little ones. While he was playing it cool, he definitely cared a lot for his little sister!
This was us trying to get him to smile/show his teeth. No dice!
And we can’t have photos without the grandparents!
Next to the field of bluebonnets, they had a cool bridge, so we tested our luck there too…
I think I see a coolness theme here! 😀
