Quinceañera. Quinceañera? What is that?
(in Latin America and among Latinos) a celebration of a girl’s fifteenth birthday and her transition from childhood to adulthood, typically involving a mass followed by a party.Ahah! I had no idea what this word meant when I heard it about a week ago. People kept saying it, and I found out what it was, but I didn’t want to say it myself until I heard it from a native Spanish speaker. But new vocabulary and proper pronunciation aside I was very excited about this event!
We had the pleasure of providing our photo booth for Lumay’s Quinceañera. It was this last weekend at the Houston Racquet Club off Memorial and Voss, and it was magical.
First, Lumay may only have just turned 15, but she has the casual confidence of someone much older. Oh, and her dress was BOSS.
Everyone was having a great time! There was a lot of dancing and delicious (looking) food (we couldn’t sample as we were working hard!), but the photo booth was where it was at ^_^.
Here are a select handful of photos from the night.
Believe me now?! Bet you want a photo booth at your next party ^_^.
And lastly, we got a group shot of the photographers. Thanks Alex, Debi, Michael, Doyle and Kei!
